André HUNEBELLE (1895-1985) André HUNEBELLE (1895-1985):
Born Meudon, near Paris, studied mathematics and Ecole Polytechnique, Paris. Designer, producer of glassware, lighting, metalwork, accessories and after famous film maker.
1922-1939, he was a designer and decorator at 2 avenue Victor-Emmanuel III, Paris; in addition to bibelots, produced small furniture pieces in glass and metal.
1937-39, was an administrator at a newspaper
1941, became a famous and prolific film producer and director for films including 'Feu Sacré' (1941-1942), 'L'Inévitable Monsieur Dubois' (1943), 'Florence est folle' (1944), 'Leçon de conduite' (1945), 'Rendez-vous à Paris' (1946), 'Carrefour du Crime' (1947), 'Métiers de Fous' (1948), 'Mission à Tanger' (1949), 'Millionnaire d'un jour' (1949), 'Méfiez-vous des Blondes' (1950), 'Ma femme est formidable' (1951), 'Monsieur Taxi' (1952), 'Les Trois Mousquetaires' (1953), 'Taxi, roulotte et corrida' (1958)
