Just ANDERSEN (1884-1943):
Danish designer, active in Copenhagen. Trained with the Danish painter and metalworker Mogens BALLIN (1871-1914) and with the Danish silversmith Peter HERTZ. originally a painter and sculptor, he established his own company, 'Just Andersen Pewter', in 1918. He produced beautiful art-deco and modernist works and also designs for the company of Georg JENSEN (1866-1935), 'Georg Jensen Solvsmedie. His wife Alba Lykke was a pupil of Jensen.
